The Saskatchewan Advocate for Children and Youth is an independent officer of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan who leads a team who work on behalf of the province's young people. Left: Cover for an investigation report into the death of a toddler who was in care of government agencies. The design needs to convey the seriousness of the issue, yet with some restraint. Any image of the child in question cannot be used. Placing a lone child in a large darkened space hints at the sadness of the situation, and at the question of responsibility. 8.5 X 11 inches.
