North Rail Bridge, Saskatoon: 2003

Just around sunset flocks of geese would take flight from the shallow water just off the sandbars on the river. They'd just clear the bridge where we were waiting. They'd fly so close we could hear the air hissing off their wings. Sharing this with the kids made it all the more special.
